We love model railroading!

Beyond moving locomotives and railcars, we believe it’s just as important to model the surrounding environment with precision and detail. That’s why we automate and add randomness to the auxiliary elements as well. Our favorite scales are TT and H0, where 5V accessories, motors, LEDs, and compact 4W sound panels are ideal.

We work with a modular system, building table sections that follow the standard 100×50 cm format. These can be connected to form a complete layout, offering a flexible and movable alternative to a single large diorama. Sometimes we store one module and bring out another — it’s all part of the fun.

This modular approach inspired the SegmentController: thinking in segments. Each segment functions as a standalone unit, yet all work together seamlessly in an integrated system.

We are software developers…

Naturally we think in terms of DCC systems. We use both Z21 and our own custom solutions to control the trains with realistic operation. This stable setup needs to be complemented by another reliable system — that’s where the Segment Controller comes in.

We know our way around electronics and are skilled programmers, so microcontrollers feel like home to us. Since 2017, we’ve preferred digital solutions over analog circuits. Instead of creating custom, one-off solutions, we focus on modular, configurable systems. The web interface wasn’t just built for our customers — it was built for us, too. We don’t enjoy uploading firmware to modules manually (even if it would be faster). We’d rather offer solutions where functions can be easily enabled or disabled, with precision and randomness built-in.

And so far, the world seems to like that. Our customers use the SegmentController product family with great satisfaction — many are eagerly waiting for new modules to be released. The good news is: 7 new modules are currently in development. Thank you for your patience! 🙂
